I’m David Chernay. 30+ years in tech. Crypto author. Poker player. Dog dad to two white mini goldendoodles named Rocket and Astro. Married to Jennifer since June 2004. We landed in North Park in 2007 and I wouldn’t trade this neighborhood for anything.<\/p>\n

January 2026 kicked off a new chapter — job hunting as a senior professional in a market that loves to talk about experience and then ghost anyone over 50. I’m documenting the whole ride on The Road<\/a>. The wins, the weirdness, and the occasional crisis of confidence at 9am on a Tuesday. All of it.<\/p>\n
